Uptowncharlybrown Sires First Foal

The first reported foal for stakes winner Uptowncharlybrown   was a colt born the evening of Feb. 16 at Michael Jester’s Penn Ridge Farm near Harrisburg, Pa.

Bred by Fantasy Lane Stables, the colt is the first foal out of the Dixie Union mare Glorious Union.

Fantasy Lane also campaigned Uptowncharlybrown who started off his 3-year-old season with a six-length triumph in Tampa Bay Downs‘ Pasco Stakes, followed by third-place finishes in the Sam F. Davis Stakes (gr. III) and the Coolmore Lexington Stakes (gr. II).

Bred in Kentucky by Juan Bruno and Rose Hill Farm, Uptowncharlybrown is out of the Langfuhr   mare La Iluminada.

Glorious Union is scheduled to be bred back to Uptowncharlybrown, who stands for $1,500 at Penn Ridge Farms.
