STRONG SHOWING FOR PENNSYLVANIA-BREDS AT FLORIDA SALE

Only four Pennsylvania-Breds were offered at the Florida Sale for selected two-year-olds in training, but they all fetched remarkable prices. The top selling horse in the entire sale was a PA-Bred colt by Big Brown, bred by Landson Robbins and Tom Hansen, who brought an astounding $1.3 million. A Distorted Humor colt, bred by Brushwood Stable was a close second bringing $1.2 million. The remaining two also sold extremely well with a Dixie Union colt bringing $440,000 and a Malibu Moon filly selling for $310,000.
