Unbridled Energy , a grade II winner by Unbridled’s Song , will stand in 2013 at Larry Mabee’s Golden Eagle Farm near Ramona, Calif. His fee is $2,500 live foal. The 10-year-old stallion formerly stood at Pin Oak Lane Farm in Pennsylvania.
Unbridled Energy, who won the 2006 San Fernando Breeders’ Cup Stakes (gr. II), has sired six stakes horses including 2012 stakes winner Sterling Madame. With the relocation of Giacomo and Aragorn, Unbridled Energy tops California’s third-crop sires’ list with 2012 progeny earnings of more than $1.5 million. Lifetime, he has progeny earnings of more than $3.1 million.
