Penn Ridge Farms in Harrisburg, Pa., has added grade I winner Flashy Bull to its stallion roster for the 2014 season.
The son of Holy Bull will stand for $4,500.
Flashy Bull has three crops of racing age with 68% winners from starters through Nov. 4. He has sired a total of 10 stakes winners, including grade III winner Flashy Lassie, as well as Flashy American and Balooga Bull who have both won multiple stakes in 2013.
Tom Riegle, director of stallion operations at Penn Ridge, said the farm will work with Airdrie Stud in Midway, Ky., which stood Flashy Bull for $10,000 in 2013.
“We are so very happy to be working with Airdrie Stud, and we believe that Flashy Bull will be a great addition, not only to our roster, but to the Pennsylvania breeding program as well,” Riegle said.
Flashy Bull, who is a registered Pennsylvania stallion, joins Petionville , Messner , and Uptowncharlybrown on the Penn Ridge roster. Special consideration will be given to mares foaling in Pennsylvania.
