The stakes-winning son of Limehouse joins Talent Search, Mad Flatter, Got the Last Laugh, and Senor Swinger at Glenn and Becky Brok’s Diamond B Farm for the 2015 Breeding Season.
Uptowncharlybrown began his racing career with a 9-length maiden special weight victory at 2. In his 3-year-old season he was pointed toward the Triple Crown and finished that year as a stakes winner and stakes-placed in the Grade 2 Lexington Stakes at Keeneland and the Grade 3 Sam F. Davis at Tampa Bay Downs .
Out of the lightly raced Langfuhr mare, La Iluminada, Uptowncharlybrown is a 1/2- brother to stakes winner Startjumpin Marnie. Uptowncharlybrown was proven on dirt, turf and polytrack, and defeated current stallions Flat Out, Boys at Tosconova, and Santiva, and finished 2nd to Tapizar, winner of the G1 Breeders Cup Mile. Uptowncharlybrown stands for $1,500 Live Foal, stands & nurses, with special consideration to Pennsylvania-foaling mares.
Uptowncharlybrown and all the Diamond B Stallions will be available for viewing at their Open House on Sunday, January 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the farm in Mohrsville, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine will be served, and there will be lots of giveaways and drawings for seasons.
