Henny Jenney Rolls in Northern Fling

HENNY JENNEY tracked the leaders within striking distance down the backstretch, rallied four wide midway on the turn, engaged the pacesetters in mid-stretch and pulled away in the final sixteenth under confident handling. POWER OF SNUNNER sped to the lead into the first turn, set a well rated pace down the backside, responded when challenged by KEYSTONE KELLY in the turn, dueled with that one to mid-stretch, kept on but could not hold off the winner in a game try. BOUND reserved for the first half mile near the rear, closed ground through the far turn, mounted a belated charge from six wide down the lane to be gaining near the wire. ONLY ONE FOR ME slow early to trail, remained near the back to the quarter pole and closed with a rush in deep stretch. STEP ASIDE BOYS raced wide for most of the way, started to gain down the backside, dropped back in the final turn and rallied in the lane. KEYSTONE KELLY stalked the leader for the first half mile, moved to challenge midway on the final bend, took a short lead in upper stretch, dueled to the eighth pole and weakened late. STORM ON BYE chased the pace from the rail to the quarter pole, was set to an early drive, contended to mid-stretch and flattened out. ROYAL RENEGE rated in mid-pack most of the way and lacked a closing response when called upon. LENAPE RIM made a move to close the gap at the quarter pole and leveled off in the drive. HEDONEMEWRONGSONG well placed to the head of the stretch and failed to mount a challenge. CLASSY COCO went evenly as no threat. SYNFULL TALE raced four wide into the first turn to track the leaders, contended to the quarter pole and gave way turning for home.
